I have no way of telling if that is fake, but it looks legitimate to me. If this video is real, Gamestop has just sunk lower in my book. Not only is this video degrading to women, but it completly disrespects the informed customer. And I know the whole safari theme is just a joke, but it treats women and customers in general like animals who can be manipulated into throwing their money away.

What do you guys think of Gamestop? Would you ever work there? I would have walked out when this video started playing to start finding a new job with a respectable employer.

That... that can't be right... It seems so real, though, that's the odd thing.

I know someone that works (or used to work) at a Gamestop. I'll check with her to see if it's legit.

DAMN, my friend said she doesn't work there anymore...

Wow...if this is real, a piece of me has died.

If not, it looks so real.

EDIT: I had to turn off the video. Not out of outrage, but out of pure boredom.

Interesting. Unless something occurred in the last minute-and-a-half, I don't see why anyone would really be pissed over this. I can imagine it would make people roll their eyes, but how is it despicable?

Everyone I know that's worked there (grand total of two people) said they received NO training video. There training was just basically
day one: "This is how you use the register" and "This is how you organize"
15 minute break
rest of day: "You're on your own. Just remember what you learned this morning."

I worked in 2 of them, the most training I ever got was a 20 minute talk with the person in charge that day, everything else was learned just through doing.

hahahahaha that's freaking hilarious, the only thing funnier is those ppl getting offended by it

anyone offended by that seriously needs to get a freaking life. also if you think it's despicable how they upsell stuff and get ppl to buy more, you've never worked in retail cause well that type of stuff works really well and is rather truth about how you can sucker someone into buying something

Thinking back on it, it probably is fake, though it looks so proffesional, and how would people not affiliated with Gamestop get access to a Gamestop store in order to film? Gamestop isn't that nice.

I've heard that Gamestop has training videos, but most of the store managers never bother to play them for the employees and lose them.

Hell no, no way this is real. A few good reasons:
1. They use humor
2+4,5,6. They're being blatantly sexist. Every company covers their ass; GameStop isn't stupid, just an asshole.
3. The editing is abysmal, and has a homemade look and feel to it.
4. GameStop does not train their employees.
