Anyone read that book about the future and how thirds are illegal? (i won't specify a book cuz there are so many, enders game , lost childern, etc..)
and i was thinking.. what if it ACTUALLY happened?
like... earth got over croweded.. and we didn't have advanced technology for population on other planets
i was thinking.. how can we help NOW? and i have come up with an idea (note this idea should be taken as a joke unless u beleive in it, dont flame me!)
so the idea is DESTROY THE DATING SITES!
what do you think and what are your ideas/jokes

*face palms* .... this isnt random! this is what is going on in my mind all the time! and if i had ADHD then how could i be lazy?!?
i got this from watching one of those dating site advertisements and after there was a advertisement in Japan with the forbidden city and there was TOO MANY PEOPLE! and i thought to myself.. how many people do dating sites combine? and how many KIDS are they making?! i myself am a kid.
and when iwent to japan everyone was crowding my little brother becuse the was the third child in my family and JAPAN had laws against having more than 2 kids! (idk if it was china or japan)
so yeah.. population crisis...

No need. The people who make up the majority of dating site frequenters are in countries that are either declining in population (Europe) or barely replacing the one they have (America). Australia is the only country that has any notable amount of dating site subscribers with population growth.

Your efforts would be better spent thwarting the Chinamen from getting their Womens from surrounding countries. And continuing to not send money to third world countries. Either that or magically rid them of corruption, create more opportunity for women and better their quality of healthcare.

And funfact relating to Europe's population. In what I'd guess would be in the next 6-8 decades unless you lot start having more children and all that jazz. Be ready for the majority of your population to look like this.

That's proably what is going to happen with the current population trend and destroying a couple dating sites and preventing casual relationships from flourishing isn't going to stop that.

Most times, those couples use protection. It's the ones that are serious or the countries with people too poor to afford birth control or condoms etc etc that will lead to overpopulation.

Extra-Terrestrial colonization is currently completely infeasible with today's technology and resources, it would require too much resources and effort. Therefore humanity simply needs to control it's population problem so these things become readily available, then we can concentrate on spreading out.

There's a Sci-Fi book called Legacy of Heorot that part of the colonists wish to leave earth and spread out into space was because there was no limit on the amount of children allowed, thus population control would help speed up the process.

However, banning Dating sites wouldn't help at all, and in this very busy and fast world many people have little time to simply go out and socialize, therefore Dating sites are a brilliant idea. eHarmony released an advert at one point saying they were responsible for about 2% of all marriages in America. That's impressive, I think Dating Sites will fast become a way to meet people in the future, and their use shouldn't be looked down upon, their not the problem, its Governments (except china) simply refusing to address the problem, as it'd make them far too unpopular.
