Detective Conan

I just had my mind blown. While looking through an anime website I see detective conan... wait don't they mean case closed? I pull it up and episode 641... wtf? Case closed was a short series, or so I thought.

Case closed or detective conan or whatever it is has over 600 episodes and I've only seen like 20. I am pissed and curious at the same time.

So point of the thread. Is detective Conan still good 600 episodes later? Do any other people living in countries that aren't japan feel stiffed for not having the whole series aired?

It's pretty much more of the same. There are a few actually story progression with the secret organization but most are just random mystery cases. To me it was just as good as the earlier ones, but I just got tired of it. If I want a good murder mystery I'll watch a few more episodes at a time though.

I am sad that it got canceled in america though, I enjoyed watching it every night and it was one of the few anime I got my parents to watch and enjoy. Then again I didn't watch it for the overarching story, I liked trying to solve the short mysteries before it was revealed. There was one site that listed every episode that had to deal with that organization so if you just wanted to see the main storyline you could but that was forever ago and I don't even remember what it was called or even if the site is still up.
