After watching the rather stunning trailer for Deus Ex 3 yet again, I seemed to have stumbled upon a hint concerning the story and/or theme of the game.
If you pause the teaser at 1:24 (watch here if you want it to be exact: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2uPhs_iHDY&feature=sub&playnext_from=TL&videos=EHkXFUR8uak&playnext=1 ) you'll see the cityscape with a large TV screen near the front, which reads "ELIZA" for a second or two. Feeling inquisitive (and knowing what developers are like with these sorts of things) I decided to type the name into my good friend Wikipedia.
This search turned up this result: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELIZA_effect .
Now, I'm not entirely sure what I think of it yet (I'll edit this when I've had the chance to consider it) but I thought that posting it for others to speculate on wouldn't be such a bad idea.
Consider it a gift - unless someone else already noticed it anyways.
