I can't say this isn't awesome, but I'm not sure wether it's in the Deus Ex tradition.

I played a short demo of the second game, and this one looks like it is a little more level based, but I could be wrong. The music is also pretty good, I hope it winds up in the game.

Why is it so bloody yellow?

Anyway. It looks pretty cool, but I don't think Guenther Hermann could do half the things what-his-face could do in this trailer. Either they're going to have put a lot of effort making it canon or there's something I'm missing here.

It'd be nice if the trailer would actually work. Ever since the first trailer I've been horribly excited. The aesthetics and background of this game, Cyber Renaissance, look fantastically interesting.

Wow, that looks amazing. What's it coming out on?

On another note, why 2027? Technology today advances fast, but not that fast. The whole world, with all of the massive high-tech structures, looks like it should be at least 100 years into the future, if not more.

I really hope it's as open as the first game was. If the environments are that open, a la assassin's creed, I'll be happy camper.

Plus, I love the one scene where the main-character(?) is chatting with the other guy in the skyrise and it looks like a shot out of Blade Runner.

God...

The trailer looks amazing, but

1) This is supposed to be a prequel so

he's right. What's-his-face's name is Adam Jensen by the way.

2) Cover system. That's why I can never support this game until I see blindingly positive reviews. The day they bashed the game that started a legacy (the first one) lessened the importance of stealth and added a f*cking cover system is the day Eidos died to me.

3) See above. Oh wait I got another one.

4) Why set it so early in the future? It just kills off suspension of disbelief in a way.

All I can hope is that it isn't as bad as the second game.
And close to the Awesomeness-radiance of the first.

Been looking forward to it for yonks now.

If it's a prequel, why does everything look so much more advanced than it did in Deus Ex?

In Deus Ex JC was the absolute pinnacle of technology, and he couldn't do half the stuff that guy just did.

Regardless, looks... alright! Invisible Wars had a pretty damn cool trailer too though, so you'll excuse me if I don't get excited. Already been down this path once before, I'd rather not repeat the experience by getting my hopes up.

It looks absolutely amazing. I haven't played or know about this series much at all. Is Deus Ex 1 really as awesome as its suppose to be. I hear you can like kill off major characters and the story changes accordingly.
