So I just beat Human Revolution, and absolutely loved the music. Then I remembered I'd pre-ordered the augmented edition, and happily went to check out the soundtrack... only to realize it was composed of thirteen three-minute micro samples from about half the actual music.

Has anyone managed to rip the full soundtrack from the game's data? I don't care if it's not perfectly formatted for listening, I just want that music.

I dunno; the full soundtrack as available on iTunes is 25 tracks and contains most music.

However, I find the "Everybody Lies" track disappointing, as I was hoping for a full version of the boss-fight music when facing Fedorova (the augmented woman with the twin machine pistols), while the track only contains a tiny segment.

So I do think there is still a lot that a sound-rip could certainly fill-in.

What exactly do you mean by "micro-samples"? It could be that the Augmented Edition includes parts that aren't included in the main soundtrack, so the two combined might give a mostly complete set?

Game soundtracks tend to not include every track for some reason. In some strange instances one or two songs are missing and can only be chalked up as, "Oops, forgot that one." My favorite song from ME1 is the music from Ilos. The soundtrack doesn't have it (even though it was composed by Jack Wall like the rest of the music) so I had to grab it from youtube. Sometimes fans and/or publishers will release "Lost Tracks", though this doesn't happen often.
