Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

The main game looks nice like you would expect. They seem to be going heavy handed with the apartheid angle, so we will see how that works. They are also including crafting?? I am unsure about that. The breaches. At first I thought it looked horrible, but I think I am warming up to the idea of these focused gameplay segments. I am just mixed about the art style.

I have a feeling this will be a worthwhile sequel, as long as the game design allows for more player freedom and isn't hampered every checkpoint by some cutscene or scripted action sequence. Voice acting seems pretty placeholder ("Orange-level...you are some kind of bad-ass?"... -_-). Not a fan of the rail cam-like movement or immersion-killing design choice of being pulled out of 1st person every time you take cover either, but at least it seems functional. Also not sure why they need such obvious transitions whenever you talk to someone, but the game isn't final so hopefully that will improve.

It's one disappointing carry over element from HR. At least the Director's cut fixed the boss fights; although a game like this would probably feel better without any "boss fights" at all.

Looks better than HR is every way. my most anticipated game of this year. they are making level design so much bigger this time.
