Developer acting like 5 year old...

Long story short:
Some time ago I bought Hearts of Iron 3 (WW2 strategy) from Paradox - game was horribly broken at release and was never patched to the state where it wouldnt contain gamebreaking bugs.

Today they released expansion called Semper Fi (it cost 20 bucks) which promised to fix most problems.

Many of HoI3 problems are still present in Semper Fi. For example submarine warfare is still broken, Japan is always defeated by china etc.

When I posted problems I found in Paradox forums I was banned for it and all my posts were deleted, none of those posts contained even single rude word and I didnt break any forum rules, but because some admin was having power trip and didnt like my criticism I was banned.

Problem with being banned is that to access MP server you have to use your forum login which is tied to you CD key so without it you are screwed...

Problem is that they acting like they are most customer friendly company under the sun and some players are buying that (and if you disagree and they ban you, all your posts you ever made in their forum will suddenly dissapear).

I sent PM to one of reasonable mods. Even if I get my acount back, lots of damage is already done. When my account was banned all my posts were deleted just like all threads which I created.

I often posted in their tech support where I helped others and I even created hotfix after they screwed up patch for Steam version of that game - that fix was official solution for over 4 months. When they banned me all that dissapeared.

That's a load of shit, and also another reason why these companies are loosing to piracy, why deal with this "banned now the CD won't activate" and the million and one other problems that I'm sure you're having, or will have, when you can just get the shit, for free, and not deal with people acting all territorial on your ass because their piece of shit game was FUBARed.

i picked up hearts of iron 3 a while ago and i honestly never had a problem with it unless i outwardly tried to fuck up History but Invading Austia, Yugoslavia, Turkey and Greece as soons as possible.

i do see problem with the Semper Fi in that it can be considered a fix, but they did add some things to it so you could see it as a really bad DLC, how much was it? i cant see it on steam.

I posted that I like new features but I also posted about serious problems ingame (tested in over 10 hands off games and 2 where I actively played)
- sub warfare broken (version 1.2 which was available 7 months ago was better for sub warfare compared to current mess).
- AI almost not building tanks and never building any heavy tanks (Germany and USSR combined had 21 tank division totat in 1945)
- japan always being crushed in china
- Anschluss of Austria happen in September 36 in Sempeer Fi
and several more "nice" bugs/problems

Wow, you would think that they would try to get their historical accuracy right, especially since it's suppose to be "historically accurate". Though I would agree that it seems odd as they should have a complaints section in their forums for bugs and glitches.

Didn't an actual Gamespot Employee get fired for giving Twilight Princess less than a 10? I seem to recall that. Regardless, there has never been a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than Gamespot.

It's Paradox ineractive and they do have minor notorioty for being a bunch of assholes, especially when it comes to actually keeping the promises they make. God forbid that you should ever question a decision, creative or technical, that they made.

Most developer's forums don't generally ban you for disliking a feature, provided you go about voicing it like a human being. Most developers also don't tie their game accounts into forums ones that they can ban you from at a whim either.

Anyway.

@ OP, sorry to hear that. I hope you get to a higher up who lets you have your multiplayer account back, but don't hold your breath.
