who else gets excited when developers bring out or announces new I.P.? Naughty Dog are brilliant at doing this and so does Sucker Punch but Team Ico IMO are the Masters. Ubisoft can't seem to broaden their horizons enough, where's I Am Alive? Whenever I read news about a brand new game that has no ties to anything that they have made before (an execption, mind you, is Valve Software) I get all gooesbumps and generate some acual interest.
