This is a request for custom graphics tweaks to improve the visual quality of the game, a bit like how custom crysis configs enable some of the Dx10 graphics settings since DMC4 does have its own Dx10.exe

I tried DMC4 for the PC and the game was completely unplayable with the keyboard + mouse.
I have an old gamepad but by some odd reason it doesn't support it what so ever. (Right analogue-stick won't work at all)

Seems odd that nowdays all ports are sloppy and require an Xbox360 controller connected to the PC to work. *sigh* Must spend another $45 on a wired Xbox360 controller.

I severly doubt that they are alot of graphical tweaks to the game since if you want higher res stuff to my knowledge you need a High Resolution Texture add-on. I don't think the game was ment to be tweaked with at all. After all, it's a lousy port.

Really? I thought it was an awesome port. No bugs, loaded quick, looked awesome and I managed to hook up my ps2 controller to it no problem.

Try using joy2key if you're having problems.

To be honest I have never owned a xbox 360 and yet the very fact the controller had drivers for windows caused me to go and buy one and its been a brilliant purchase I have used it to play Zelda:OoT on project64 (highres texture pack) and it even used the controllers rumble feature, Played tomb raider anniversary and DMC4 and both instantly recognised the controller from the start I fail to see how this is sloppy.

DMC4 was a great port IMO even just for the fact that it had in game support for all of nvidias AA settings, multisampling, supersampling and the like and ran with kickass frame rates, without AA almost no drops below 100FPS and included its own benchmark that was acurate if you used the same settings in game.

The problem is that the game will not detect the right analogue stick and hence I cannot control the camera.
Also by some odd reason it wouldn't detect Diagonal movement on the left analogue stick. It was extremely assed so I uninstalled it after I couldn't beat the tutorial.

On a funny sidenote, I recall that DMC3 on the PC was downright unplayable even WITH a correctly configured Joystick. I remember the character attacking when I pressed RIGHT on the right analogue-stick. I mean wtf?

But like I said, I realize that I probably need an Xbox 360 controller anyway, if not for this game then probably for all other ported games like AITD, GRID, Pure, Metal Gear Solid Substance, Virtua Tennis, RE4 etc.

Just seems to me that all these games are basically unplayable without an Xbox 360 controller hooked up to the PC.

The wired 360 controller I use for PC games cost 15 dollars on Amazon...
