devlopers journals, anyone watch them?

i've been noticing lots of this "video diary" stuff for games on xbox live and on the internet being passed off as game trailors. i have to be honest even when a game i really want has these i've never actually watched one of these things. it just seems pointless after the long history games in general have with promising more than they can deliver, weather it's due to time constraints, complications durring programming, or the developer being a total cock bite. it just seems like these things are more or less useless when it comes to acuratley describing game content. even if they are a good idea it seems a little fanboyish in general to be checking the "diary" of the designers.

I actualy like the ones availible for Fable 2, it gives your some understanding of the design procces.

Personally I find them interesting on the occasions that I chose to watch them. I think they're a lot more informative than trailers will ever be.

I've watched a couple of the Fable 2 videos as well. Does anyone else find themselves yelling "SHUT UP" at Peter Molyneux whenever he begins to speak?

No way, he melts my heart he does. I don't care how good the game really will be (actualy I do), I have already gotten alot of enjoyment from it.
