Lithgow did a great job and the ending was well done. As I said, I'm not a fan of him partnering up. It seems to introduce a massive amount of stupid to the series. Sitting through some of the stupid mistakes Dexter made during those seasons was worse for me than watching The Room.dathwampeer said:I think season 3 was a drop. But I think season 4 is as good if not better than the second. John Lithgow was incredible and The ending of the season really opens up massive amounts of possibilities for the fith. One of the smartest seasons I've seen in any series. And not affraid to piss off the fanbase to advance the plot. That's always a good thing.Aeriath said:I'm hoping that it will be a return to form. Maybe I'm in the minortiy, but I think seasons 3 and 4 were not as good as the first 2. I suppose I disliked the "partners" (not the characters or actors, it just seemed a bit off for Dexter).
I didn't like the direction that the books took either, so perhaps I'm just unpleasable.
Yeah this thread is about Series 5, which begins in a little over a month. The Austin said:Isn't there already a Dexter series?
... Called Dexter, if I'm not mistaken?
