Says it all really: Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy of Diablo 2 for Mac, or if it even exists?

Been trying for a while to no avail....

Blizzard sells it on their site.

Digital and retail.
Tried that.. According to them they are sold out...

EDIT: of the retail.. the digital would be the obvious option if my brain hadn´t gone "derp" when I checked...

EDIT 2: Aaaaaand they have upgraded the OS until it won´t support the game anymore without boot camp, so they´ve stopped selling it all together...

The PC version has the Mac version included. Be warned that it will only run in the Classic Mac environment unless properly patched and even so it does not run well. Despite the game being older than Clint Eastwood it was not designed to take advantage of Mac software and thus swims about as well as a dead fish in a pool of expired peanut butter.

You could always try a Diablo clone like Torchlight.

So I should just get a PC then... Been thinking about doing that for a while now but I´m not enough of a gamer to warrant the purchase. Just felt like replaying D2 for nostalgic reasons...

Ah well. Thanks anyway!

I'm not sure what you're specs are, you can at least give the demo a shot (make sure to download the patch too).

Also, check out Torchlight and Dungeons of Dreadmore, they are both dungeon crawlers available for Mac that have similar traits as Diablo and have very low spec requirements.
