While I can't wait for d3, every picture or video I see looks like WoW from a top perspective. Sure, I loved wow, but all the simple textures and cartoon style models don't remind me of d2/d1 at all :(

I remember when the videos were first released, I went into WoW to find the floor tile textures shown from D3, as they looked remarkably similar. Low and behold, the floor tiles in D3 are the same as in scholo (wow instance)

awwww nawww, not anymore of those little pricks. they annoyed me with their squeay voices, running away and their little "Raganishu" battlecry.
Gah! I hated it when they ran away, I'd have to track the little bastards across the freakin map in order to ensure there wasn't a shaman lurking around... which there often was...
At least they weren't as bad as the Sand Leapers.

...first I thought the title was "Diablo III Bestiality Revealed". I must be tired.
As did I, it's just one of those things that we are subconsciously conditioned to spot out. The natural tendency to take a base variable and modify it to fit our immature and inappropriate mindsets.

Oh, and I ordered Diablo II from Amazon today. I'm finally going to play it for the first time in my life.

I was never too fussed about the Fallen Ones and Carvers etc., it was the Shamans that used to drive me mental. I'm can't wait for D3 - sometimes I lay awake at night just thinking about it... I probably shouldn't have posted that last bit.
Could be worse, you could've said you lay awake at night and touch yourself, like I do.

...Wait.
How do even start to reply to that...? Er... firstly I've now spilled some of the tea I was drinking on to my keyboard. And Secondly, well lets just leave the second part.
And I'm not even thinking of the Amazon when I do it neither! Just...Zakarum!

THATS RIGHT, THE CITY.
Noooooo! Please say that was a one off (no NOT like that). O.K. if not the Amazon then what about the Sorceress or the Assassin?
I wasn't being SERIOUS.

...I totally think about the Sorceress sometimes. The Assassin is too butch and the Amazon is too... big.
Phew, I was worried for a moment there. Yes... I... I knew that all along of course.

You're not the only one.
The can't wait part or the lying awake part? Or both perhaps?

so if i kill the Overseers last, they won't run away?

that makes things easier =)
Argh i hated having to chase a stray one then coming back and realising i had left the shaman alive. So frustrating

Hmm... Is it just me or does the "backstory" of various creatures change with every game? Now it's like "Why do the fallen follow Azmodan? Well... uh... They were once his minions! Yup..."

I personally prefer the look they had in D1. Starved, disgusting creatures making little puking sounds regardless if they are hitting you or you are hitting them. Truly pathetic, but numerous. I also miss the scavenger enemies. Those actually scared me as a child.
