Diablo III Classes

What classes would you want to see or change in Diablo III?

I'm not sure if I was the only one but I was pretty devastated when I found out we lost the necromancer in favour of the Witchdoctor. I hope the witchdoctor is as good.

I wouldn't mind seeing the noble and valiant poopsmith. Oh, his mute and magical ways are an inspiration to all adventurers.

I like what they've shown so far, Barbarian and Sorceress were my 2 favorite classes in D2. Wizard looks really fun.

I just hope they mapped spells to other keys, I swear to god I couldn't play D2 because of the carpal tunnel it gave me. Why would they map literally everything, including spells, attack, and movement, to the mouse?

The only class I played in D2 was the barbarian. I always like having brute force on my side and I hate having to rely on range attacks to win.

I like the fact that you can play D2 with only the mouse, worked great when I lost the use of my keyboard.

I remember seeing it on a gameplay video of the Barbarian and Witchdoctor classes when the game was first announced last year. Hopefully it's still in the game of course.

The witchdoctor looks decent enough, but then I never used to play as a necro.

I expect I'll be going for the Wizard class, looks quite fun. Hopefully better than the Sorceress, which I never really liked.

I played through Diablo 2 the most as a Paladin though, so I hope they can come up with a similar class for D3.

I wouldn't play the barb. Melee sucks balls in this type of game.

I dunno, the melee does seem to be hitting multiple people in this game so that would be a plus.

From game play videos I've seen, they set up the spells in a hot bar like you would use in an MMO.

I think the only class I beat the game with was Barbarian. Though losing the Necro is news to me... terrible news. I loved having hoards of skeletons. They were pretty useless when it came to fighting a boss, but fun to watch when it came to two armies battling to the death. Also it sucked when you didn't have any skeletons, and you'd have to try to go out and kill some really tough bad guy with nothing to get your first one.

I'd like to see a kind of rogue character, (NINJA!) only because most games I play if theres Rogues theres usually some awesome things in its inventory (bombs, throwing knives, teammates head...), and the fact they usually can sneak right through battle to heal, or get a better vantage point if its using ranged attacks.

Yeah something like the amazon or assassin from D2 would be nice. The witchdoctor would be ok as a replacement for the necromancer (Especially considering the zombie wall) but he would never really fill the gap. Also, is it me or does the Mongrel (Witchdoctor's first pet) not seem nearly as badass as the necromancer's skeletons.

Three of the five classes are revealed. I'm predicting that the remaining two classes will be a agile fighter type, like the Amazon or the Assassin, and the last one will be a magic/melee hybrid such as the Druid or the Paladin. I'm just hoping they make it interesting.

Of the classes revealed so far, I find only the Wizard interesting. Barbarian is old news and the Witch Doctor looks like a lame version of the Necromancer.

I love all classes so far. Diablo 3 will be my first Diablo and I'm really looking forward to it. I have no idea what I'll play yet, the Witchdoctor looks awesome (Wall of Zombies? Thaaaank you!) but so do the Barbarian and Sorcerer... A well, we'll see.
