Diablo III Classes

I like everything they've showed so far. The wirch doctor seems more interesting to me than the necro ever did, the barbarian looks good, and the wizard is a wizard. (wizards are awesome.) I hope they have a ranged character like the diablo 1 rogue, i.e. a ranged character who doesn't annoy the heck out of me like the Amazon did. I would also like a stealth/assassin type character. I think those two plus the three they've got would be fine.
I beat diablo multiple times with every class. I beat Diablo II with every class except Paladin (best friend's favorite class that I just couldn't get into much), several classes multiple times. Plan on playing every class in Diablo 3.
Did anyone else ever try to make "unique" characters? I got the idea from some guy's blogging on I believe Diabloii.net where he would do stuff like try to beat the game with an assassin only using traps or beat the game as a passifist necromancer using terror and only killing bosses and not anything else.
Example would be, I made a Druid specializing in Molten Boulder and bowled my way through the game.
Once I talked my best friend into a Barbarian who specialized in throwing while I played one focusing on concentrate. We devastated! And surprisingly, we never once fought over gear.
