Diablo III For Consoles May Get no Post-Launch Support

I will not have any complaints as long as the xbox 360 version of diablo 3 ultimate evil edition is of the same quality or better than the original release of diablo 3 on the 360.

Good to see everyone is jumping on the hate train instead of considering if its maybe because of all the baggage developers have to deal with when deploying content to consoles.
The fact PC is getting updates and Console MIGHT not should tell you that perhaps, just maybe, its because of console reasons and not because Blizzard is evil.

Well it shows a dillema that already was present.
TF2 died on console because it was never updated, the reason it was never updated was for a variety of reasons.
The console version of D3 was ported by another company, so this begs the question if it's a problem with that company, or that Blizzard doesn't want to work with that company, etc.

No. There would be if /I/ was saying I didn't care, but I didn't, so there isn't. I read the article and the comments because I do care about Blizzard games. I generally don't read the articles or comments of things I don't care about, because I don't care about them.

You....don't know how either of those words are applied do you? It still isnt ironic or hypocritical. If you're saying you care in the sense that you like to laugh at Blizzard games, then you do give a shit, just in a different way, in which case your original statement was false.

That does not retroactively make my statements ironic or hypocritical, as there is no way I could've known that up until now. And if you do care, just for the opposite reasons I do, then that still doesn't make it ironic or hypocritical. It wouldn't even make them wrong, because you originally said you didn't give a shit, which was a lie. It would only be so, if I said /I/ didn't care. And like I said, I was reading the comments and the article, /only/ because I care.

Reviving this topic because I find it interesting that The Escapist thought it was worth reporting what features might not be present (post release support) on consoles, yet didnt feel it wasnt interesting when the final word was passed.

Which is that the next gen consoles will be seeing each patch shortly after it hits PC.

Guess its not Escapist policy to follow up on rumours they call news unless they're negative or shit stirring?
