My party for almost the entire game on my first playthrough was Mordin and Miranda. They rule. As a character, I liked her, but she wasn't my favourite. My main problem with her was her preposterous clothing. I don't think she was actually wearing anything, she was just body painted and had no nipples for some reason.

Yeah, Jack was surprisingly great. Because of her trailer, I was expecting someone much less three-dimensional, but she ended up being well fleshed out.
"Fleshed out". Huh-huh-huh.

Shes rough around the edges, but get to know her and shes not that bad and to some interesting. No Bioware charecters are bland (except Sten).

She was ok. Miranda and Jacob had amazing bodies, but I found them both kind of boring as far as romances were concerned.

I'm still ticked I can't romance Joker frankly, I go every which way as far as species goes but I can't have the cripple!

Thane ended up being the one and I traveled around with him and Tali.

Human squad mates are generally boring to me in M E and M E 2.

Wasn't too fond of Miranda... for me Mordin and Jack have to be my favourite party members. The whole difference of speech makes Mordin interesting and who can't love a sadistic biotic when you play mostly paragon? xD

I thought jack was way cooler, which made me all the more pissed when she was killed before I got to knock her up! Cockblocking collector bastards...

I liked her. Great in combat, remarkably human once you did her loyalty quest and really got to know her. I thought she was very nicely portrayed, wouldn't mind seeing her in the future.

I didn't really like here until I did her side quest mission. That gave her a more human side. Hell I was even going to sleep with her over Kelly until I found out that you could entice Tali :D. After I found out about that I chucked Miranda out the nearest air lock. Kinda pissed off though cause I ruined my relationship with Jack because I wanted to sleep with Miranda originally. :/
I did the exact same thing, and every time I tried to talk to Jack after, all I got was "F**K OFF!" Can't say I blame her though.

My character surely liked having sex with her. I liked her too because I like Yvonne in real life.
Also, I like all of the characters, except for Jack. I know she was supposed to impress us with her bad-ass attitude but I honestly found her pathetic and ugly.

I didn't really like her, too bland and kept whining, I can't actually remember anything she said I thought was funny or interesting.

I liked her, I liked all of the party members. That seems to happen to me in all Bioware games, I can never seem to bring myself to hate any character they've written.

Despite the fact that I don't hate her, Miranda can't compare to the awesomness of Mordin.
I HATED Bastila! Only Bioware character I actually hate, but I hated her. Might be because I am a female jedi and there is nothing likeable about her if you are a female jedi, trust me!
Miranda is OK, but not great, whine, whine, whine... Same with Jack ''Poor me, no one has had it as tough as me'' BOOHOO! and Grunt isn't half the Krogan that Wrex is, Grunt the perfect Krogan? Pah!
I've said this on another thread, Thane = win! And he's f*cking dying!

Out of the female characters, she was my favourite after Tali. Jack was whiny, violent, out of control, and an all around *****. Samara was self-righteous, saw everything in black and white, and also completely out of control. Both of them annoyed the hell out of me.

Miranda, on the other hand, had great voice-acting, one hell of a back-story, stayed alive and was always useful in combat (and when I say always, I really mean always, unlike Tali), and betrays Cerberus for you at the end. She's ambitious, ruthless, brave, knowledgeable, pragmatic, and loyal, what else do you need? She wasn't just cocky, like Jack, she was confident in her own abilities because of experience. When she says to Jacob "I'm always right", that was more of a re-assertion of leadership roles rather than some stupid boast. In addition, Slam was such a great special ability I gave it to my main character.

On the downside, her face was really badly modeled, I don't know how they screwed it up so much. I found it funny how the best rendered faces were the alien ones (Mordin, Garrus, etc), while the human faces usually came out kind of blocky and weirdly animated. Her's was by far the worst, it got to the point where she was more endearing off-screen than when looking at her.

The other thing that really pissed me off (and somehow I thought Bioware wouldn't fall into this trap), was that she was wearing high heels all the time. I don't freakin' care if high heels in the future have in-built kinetic barriers or mass effect fields, they don't make sense on the battlefield. Seriously guys, what the hell? I thought we grew out of this crap, no one in Mass Effect 1 had heels.

I also disliked Bastila intensely. Self-righteous cow. And I don't like the fantasy version either (Aribeth).
