Several weeks ago I was playing Disgaea DS. I ended up ragequiting, and I put the game somewhere. AND I CAN'T FIND IT! I've searched everywhere, and it just seems to me that it vanished.

The point is, has anyone else lost something with no idea of where it is, almost as if it just faded from existence, and what was it?
Your act of rage quitting has angered the spirit of the game, now it hides in your house. Watching. Waiting. Plotting.

Happened to me before. Believe you me, nearly getting murdered by a particularly vengeful copy of "Body Harvest" for the N64 was NOT the highlight of my years.

I lost my iPod for a couple months once. It was in my hand, I put it down, got a drink, and it was gone. Finally my sister found it behind the computer screen, nowhere near the fridge, I might add.

Yeah, my Sapphire went missing for a year or something. Still have no clue where my Star Wars Podracer is, either.

I once lost the remote to my VCR... for eight years. I lost it next to my bed and found it some years later after moving my television stand... Which was on the other side of the room. This is a room about 15-20 feet across. XD Frequently my house's floor just...devours things. Sometimes they come back but other times the lost item ceases to exist.

I once got the highest ISAT (or whatever the standardized test was called) test scores in my whole school. I got a medal for it. Ive mooved three times since then and looked through every nook and cranny of that house and everything I own and I assure you that it literally vanished into thin air.

It will be in the last place you look

I hate that expression, of course its in the last place you looked, why would you continue looking for something you've already found?
I don't think that's what the expression means...Unless you being sarcastic or making fun of it...I don't know.

90% of my guitar picks. And I never find them. I almost never take them out of my room so I have no idea where they could have gone. Other than that I lose random things, sometimes a book, sometimes a speaker, and my tv remote a lot, but that usually turns up.

I lost a gc controller once. I was moving the console into the living room, so that some buddies and I could play some games, but somewhere in the thirty odd feet from my room to the living room at the time, the controller disappeared. It showed up at a friends house after about two weeks (the analog stick was broken a certain way, I could tell it was mine.) It was the weirdest thing.

Sadly I cannot keep hold of rings.

I've had 2 rings from past girlfriends, a signet ring (family heirloom) and 2 class rings (High School and College) all lost over the years.

If I ever get married I'm gonna have that fucker superglued on.

It seems that Pokemon games are especially vulnerable to vanishing into thin air. The same thing happened to my Sapphire. I found it a year later in the same cupboard I keep my 360 stuff in.

My cats also seem to teleport. They'll be in the living room, then I'll walk into the kitchen, and they'll come up the stairs from the basement.

My things disappear all the time. I'll have them right next to me and I'll come back a couple minutes later and they are gone. It's either my brother, my mother, or my house is haunted. I've already dealed with a possessed Tonka Truck and things falling off my shelves.

So when I was ten years old my family had just moved into a new house, brand new just built and everything. A friend and I were in a small room, maybe 10 feet by 10 feet, playing a game of Magic The Gathering, he tossed a card at me, I missed my catch and it went behind me. I never could find it, ever. The room was completely empty, no furniture, nothing but carpet. I still have no idea where it went.

I have also lost many game CDs, or cartridges, no idea where they are, but it seems more plausible to lose them amongst my rooms, rather than losing a card in a completely empty, clean room.

Oh yeah, also when I had a pet ferret my shoes would dissapear, it took me a week or two to realize my ferret would actually take my shoes, and hide them under the couch. Sneaky bastard.

Same here. The infuriating thing is, I know for sure that my little sister lost it. Since I bought the game, I had no qualms downloading it onto an emulator.
