I had that with the disc for Fallout 3, problem was I still had the casing so the disc was out on it's own, vulnerable self...

I found it about three months later, hidden on my book-shelf...in plain sight. I honestly must have looked there a few times so I've no idea what's going on.

I keep loosing my swimming googgles....which are expencive to rebuy 3 times a year.
....and i used to be good at lossing my money or wallet as I had to hide it from my brothers or they'd try steel from it and then I'd forget where I'd put it. and other times my brother's would have taken it then lied to my face when I asked them about it.

I lost both my Game Boy Pocket and my Pokémon Yellow cartridge the same day. That was around ten years ago. I have yet to find it.

On a lesser note, my copy of Jump Ultimate Stars likes to hide from me. Last time I found it in the couch cushions after nearly a year.

EDIT: Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire both disappeared forever, as did a copy of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, which I had borrowed from a friend.

Bought it when it first came out in 1991, saw it when I first moved in to my apartment.
Was going to read it about two years back. Haven't found it since. Also my PS1. I have NO idea what I did with that thing. I still have all the games, I just lost the actual console! It's one of the original ones, not the little slim ones, so you'd think it wouldn't be tough to find.

My alarm clock. I went to sleep one night with it on the table next to me, woke up the next day, and it was gone. Searched everywhere for it, and couldn't find it.

A few months later, I was sitting up in my room till late, when I heard a beeping noise at about 2 in the morning. I searched around my room to find what was making this noise which was getting louder. I discovered I have a large hole in the wall behind my bed, and inside ... was nothing. I then lifted up the mattress of my bed, and found my alarm clock. It seems I put it there in my sleep, which apparently is not wierd for me.

I lost my old Warcraft II disc about five years ago. I remembered putting it somewhere but I couldn't for the life of me remember where. I found it inexplicably tucked in a book that no one had ever read about five months ago. It's all very mysterious.
