i was at a late night "Hobbit" ticket sale event with someone i have feelings for (she dragged me there). while in the line to get the turn number, we met another group of people.

so the night goes on and we have fun. when the actual ticket sales begin, the group that we met earlier say that their friends have an earlier queuing number(which would increase the chance of getting the tickets for midnight showing, which she wanted to see). but unfortunately i did not have cash(just plastic), but she still went ahead and took the guys offer.

at this point i got pissed and stormed off to wait for my turn in the queue...

my question is was i being selfish and overreact, and what should i do now

Well, if she dragged you there in the first place, then she's the one who blew it. You were there because of her, so it's common courtesy that she, you know, sticks around.

What you should do now? Think about what implications that kind of behavior might have in case you actually end up in something serious. Ask yourself, is she going to drop you for something more convenient next time a similar situation happens? Or maybe ask her. Calmly.
