They didn't steal shit. Or use anyone's account. DDoS doesn't require or gain anything personal - it just crashes servers.

Thankfully no. I'm still not 100% sure why they chose the Escapist as a target to begin with, they didn't seem to have any real beef with the site, but perhaps they were just curious whether they could take it down.
