Living...where? And how would that affect her travel time in any way. The receipt is in Polish from 30th of May 2013, 08:17. It's plausible to assume she's from Poland. She could also have a Polish name but I wouldn't know. Or she could be from Belgium but had gone to Poland before coming back. At any rate, I don't see how either of these would be relevant. Also, when OP says she's Polish, it's probably because she is, not just guessing - it's plausible to assume the girl's Fb page would state it or that she mentioned when the wallet was returned or that the wallet contained a Polish ID, etc.carlsberg export said:

OT: Anything can happen. From faulty equipment on the receipt machine's part to perfect travel conditions aligning, almost everything that appears unexplainable can be explained in some fashion or another; and if not, then we simply lack the capacity to understand it at present.
UPDATE: I brought the wallet to the police station, I told the cop at the desk the story he was like wtf xD.
Anyway the cop went through it on the desk in front of me so I stayed out of curiosity.
Apparently she's a Polish student, he found a student card and such. Weird part is the girl had
4 legit visa cards... I don't know about Poland but when here in Belgium to get one you need a credit
check. So maybe she's ultra rich...
SO she could have taken a private jet! And like a private driver or something could have picked her up at the airport.
Which could possibly solve all this

I checked Krakow airport, and the earliest departure to Belgium was at 9:30. Which had an estimated time of arival
12 o'clock. She still has to go through pasport control, luggage pickup and all the other crap. Problem is, My mum found it in Brussels... the flight lands in Charleroi... which is a half an hour to 45 minutes distance from Brussels... and hour or so to get to the center... and this judging by car. If she came with the
train... she'd have to take a taxi through the center of town to get a train, wait for the train and get to Brussels.
Easily an hour. If my mum found the wallet on the metro around 13. She'd have to have been in town a while earlier,
for it to get stolen...

I have no idea. The flight time from Bournemouth (southwest of England) to Amsterdam, (when those flights still existed, anyway), is about half an hour.DoPo said:

And let us not discount the probability that maybe it was carried by TWO european swallows.
Also remember that Ryanair pad out their expected flight times by about half an hour or 45 minutes, just so they can claim that the flight arrived ahead of schedule even if they had a pile of setbacks and took off late, so 2 hours from Krakow to Brussels is probably a really generous amount.albino boo said:

Boewings cruise at about 920 km/h (give or take, depending on wind and stuff), so it should probably only take 1.5ish hours.

I think the person was travelling in a plane over Brussels and she forgot to roll the window up so it fell off the window lip plummeting to the ground.

FYI. getting A credit card is hard but once banks realize you have one and haven't gone bankrupt or fled the country they basically never stop harassing you to take another 3 or 4 or raise your credit limit and since the owner of the wallet was a girl odds are those are only the 4 she uses for shoe shopping and makeup. she prolly keeps her other 10 at home

She may have flown privately too, reducing the terminal flights, and it could have been from a smaller private airfield?
