Really?

Here's a good one I found on the GoogleMachine: apparnetly an onion and an apple both taste the same, it's their smell that causes the differentiation. Though I found that very hard to believe!
I've had to eat an onion raw before in a bet that I lost, they do taste exactly the same. In that case, you'd think it was an easy win, but the bet also ruled that I had to eat the onion (which was bigger than my fist) in under two minutes or all my cousins each get a turn to beat me up.

Yeah, I puked after the last bite.

why does it always have to be about penises.

did you know that when neil armstrong landed on the moon, he said "good luck Mr.Gretzky"(not sure if the name is correct). people later asked him why he said this and it was because when he was younger he kicked his ball into his nieghbours garden (Mr.Gretzky) and he heard coming from the bedroom "ORAL SEX! ill give you oral sex when this kid (points at neil) walks on the moon"
I've heard this one, http://www.snopes.com/quotes/mrgorsky.asp here.

Did you know... that tortoises will attempt to mate with shoes? [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQkrR6VV370]
Yes, I did know that but did you know, you can tell a tortoise's gender by the noise it makes: males grunt, females hiss.

Came up in conversation.
My cousin is a vet and, for some reason, she likes to prove to me that all the animals I think are adorable, aren't.
Thats very typical of them... One of my vet Friends reccomendations to cure almost any animal with almost any illness is a hammer to the head.

Did you know: that the Nazis were the first organisation to send anything into space?

Did you Know?

That carrots used to be a wider variety of colors, white being the most common, and were selectively bred to become orange?

That a man leading a five-hundred man scouting army, forced another man, whom was his rival, to retreat by simply playing a musical instrument?

Wow. Lot of info about penises there. Nice.

Well, did you know that The Bible is the world's most shoplifted book?
Is that because it's in hotel rooms? If so, I believe they're "complimentary" ;D

What's with all the penises and animal sex facts ? o_O /mildly-disturbed
Who wouldn't love them?

Cetaceans, inch for inch, have the biggest dorks. Just so you know, a dork is the actual name for a whale?s penis. So the next time a person calls you a dork, they?re calling you a whale penis. At any rate, the blue whale is known to have the largest penis. It is also capable of maneuvering on its own while trying to reach the female?s vagina. The largest ever measured on a specimen reached 8 feet.

That's true, though. The taste is the same, but the flavour differs. You'd be surprised at how important smell is in how we perceive food.

Did you know that the reason we associate the colour blue with males, and pink with females, is that in ancient times people believed clothing your child in those colours would protect them from evil spirits in the home and nursery.
Did you know, that the color pink was appropriate for boys until 1920s, because pink was related to red (a strong and masculine color)? In Germany, during the Nazi regime those accused of homosexual activities were forced to wear pink band (much like how Jews were forced to wear the star of David.) I guess the tradition to associate pink with girls, and homosexuality, derives from there.
