Barbie's full name is Barbara Millicent Roberts.
Did you know that if Barbie was a real woman, to-scale, she would be about seven feet tall?
She would also only have room in her chest for half her internal organs.

Music related!

When someone is talking normaly they are talking in their 'tonic voice.' When someone is nervious, unsure or preaching they raise their pitch a 4th so they talk in thier Subdominant (IV) voice. When someone goes up on the end of every sentANCE, you know how people do thAT, they raise there voice a 5th so they are in their V voice.

Did You Know? That is really scary
Did You Know? that if humans are told not to do something, they are more likely to actually do it to A: Find out how you react and B: Find out what happens if you do it. We can't process no.

Prepare to be ENLIGHTENED. Or bored shitless.

Leaving a Goldfish in a dark room for a long amount of time will eventually turn it white.
Wrong.http://www.goldfishconnection.com/articles/details.php?articleId=137&parentId=12: Parasites, Genetics, or bruising. Nothing to do with light.

The word "twit" means a pregnant Goldfish.
Wrong. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/twit
Nothing to do with goldfish there. I've also heard that twat means a pregnant goldfish, laying credence to both being tosh.

Koala bears have no natural predators.
Close, but no cigar. http://home.vicnet.net.au/~koalas/factsgeneral.html They have FEW predators, which mostly bother just the young.
Harrod's in London was the first place to sell toilet paper.
Wrong again. If we go to toilet paper in general, its from 6th century China. Modern toilet paper started in America. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toilet_paper#Modern_toilet_paper

The first time men's and women's toilets were separated was at a public ball in France.
Can't find anything on this. However, the Roman's had public toilets, I see no reason for them not to segregate.

Einstein was offered the presidency of Israel, he declined saying "I have no head for politics"
Oooh so close. He actually said he had: "neither the natural ability nor the experience to deal with human beings."

Please people. CHECK YOUR FACTS. It is not difficult.

Did you know, that the "daddy-long-legs" spider is actually extrememly venemous?
It's fangs are too small and blunt to pierce human skin.
[small](Not sure how true that is, I heard it years ago)[/small]
It's actually not. Mythbusters did this one, and even let Adam get bitten for it.
Uh... Hate to say it, dude, but this has already been covered.
Sorry to be that guy and all, but you should really read all the way through a thread before replying.
Especially if you plan on quoting someone.
Yeah, noticed there were four pages after I had already sent it. Sorry about that.

Did you know-
President Andrew Jackson's pet parrot had to be removed from his funeral in 1845 because it was swearing.
Spider monkeys like banana daiquiris.
"On the whole, I would rather be in Philadelphia" were W.C.Fields last words.

Wow. Lot of info about penises there. Nice.

Well, did you know that The Bible is the world's most shoplifted book?
I've heard that one somewhere before, I thought it was ironic.

The phrase "rule of thumb" is derived from an old English law which stated that you couldn't beat your wife with anything wider than your thumb.

In every episode of Seinfeld there is a Superman somewhere.

When you sneeze, all your bodily functions stop even your heart.

I think that last one is weirdest, because I've sneezed for 5 secs once.

This one checks out. And is awesome.http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/274405/andrew_jackson_our_irascible_7th_president_pg3.html?cat=37

Can't find anything either way, seems plausible.

"On the whole, I would rather be in Philadelphia" were W.C.Fields last words.
Multi-layered doubly wrong. The urban legend is that this is his gravestone, which is false.
"According to the documentary W.C. Fields Straight Up,[7] his death occurred in this way: he winked and smiled at a nurse, put a finger to his lips, and died. Fields was 66, and had been a patient for 14 months.
Fields was cremated and his ashes interred in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Glendale, California. There have been stories that he wanted his grave marker to read "On the whole, I would rather be in Philadelphia", his home town, which is similar to a line he used in My Little Chickadee: "I'd like to see Paris before I die... Philadelphia would do!" (In the same film, he made a point of referencing "Philadelphia cream cheese". Given his fondness for words, maybe he just liked the sound of his home town's name.) This rumor has also morphed into "I would rather be here than in Philadelphia". The anecdote that Fields often remarked, "Philadelphia, wonderful town, spent a week there one night" is unsubstantiated. It is also said that Fields wanted "I'd rather be in Philadelphia" on his gravestone because of the old vaudeville joke among comedians that "I would rather be dead than play Philadelphia". Whatever his wishes might have been, his interment marker merely has his name and birth and death years."

No such law ever existed. Any beating laws were concerned with the damage caused, not the implement. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thumb#Origin_of_the_phrase
Although the misconception dates back to 1782 so I'd say this "fact" actually becomes MORE interesting on being debunked.

When you sneeze, all your bodily functions stop even your heart.

I think that last one is weirdest, because I've sneezed for 5 secs once.
ALL your body functions? Even digestion? Even muscle contraction? So you can't walk and sneeze? Do your sphincters immediately relax and make you piss yourself? Be very careful using the word "all". Oh, and the heart is fine: http://menshealth.about.com/od/conditions/a/Sneezing_men.htm

You get a lot of muscle movement and pressure change in sneezing, so I guess it's possible for the contractions to wobble slightly.
Also, I'm intrigued by this five second sneeze. Sneezes (the actually expulsion) are pretty quick, under a second I'd wager. The five second sneeze I guess is just the inhaling build up.

Actually that should be 189,819 letters. But it doesn't really count as it's not a proper word. Scientific names have surprisingly little use, when you get to even a few amino acids trivial names take over.

Did you know that Michael E. Rudnicki is the most prejudiced person on the face of the earth, and is the real-life equivalent of Eric Cartman, only a lot less funny.
Did you know that there's a town in New Jersy called Sparta?

except that my main point isn't that every person does in fact swallow any spiders but that if you should wake while one is in your mouth, don't start freaking....as I know from experience that when one wakes up with a spider in their mouth and freaks out....it may very well bite you and trust me having a spider bite on the roof of your mouth is trash and ruins a good week of your life
