Did you try DDO?

Ok march madness has been over a little bit. Several folks mentioned they might try DDO in fact a couple that did gave some feedback. So, who all gave it a try at all and what did you think, good, bad or indifferent.

well i didnt try it recently... played about a year ago with my two roomates. was kinda cool. but i didnt get into it.

It's simply not worth the space on my hard drive.

I tried it (though not recently). Couldn't get into it, no matter how much I like Dungeons & Dragons (table top).

actually, im playing ddo right now. i just started maybe a month ago, and so far i really enjoy it. Half the people are actually cool, which is a LOT more than i can say for WoW...the first 5 lvls are tedious and repetitive, but after that, it suddenly becomes much more varied and interesting. if you havent tried it, give it a shot. Also, try Warhammer.

Same here. My computer's like, seven years old. I think I would click download, and my screen would spontaneously combust. Besides, I don't really play games like WoW or DDO. It's not that they aren't fun, I just don't want to risk the chance of being addicted.

I played the beta. I quite enjoyed the game. But When theres several mmos you want to play... Some take a back seat. I really liked the fact that in DDO you could sit on top of a box. And shoot arrows at the enemies and kill em! Lets face it, it makes sense. A Dog isn't going to be able to CLIMB A LADDER and kill ya. But then they nerfed that, and called it an 'exploit'. which kinda ruined the fun of it all.
