How would you describe character and personality and how would u differentiate between the both ?

Character-Probably the general description of what you are like as a person (would probably includes clique descriptions)
Personality-Specific details of what you are like as a person

character is like habit (e.g. smoking cigarettes )and personality i think is addiction (e.g. smoking Hashish)....according to my point of view...

Character is your beliefs and virtues. Personality is your way descriptions and traits.

Example -

He has a strong character because he does not let people push him around.
He has a nice personality because he is friendly.
