The first season was decent, the rest was absolute shit. Though I can't look back at it in a good way now that I've had it all ruined by that annoying guy on these forums pretending he has one with him.

I loved Digimon. It was kinda laughed at though, said in the same sentence as Godzilla and TMNT.

Digimon was build on epic, focused on epic.
Tell me if I'm using the word wrong.
For me, epic was when Charmander evolved. Epic was the first time I tried World of Warcraft, when I walked around Stormwind with ambivalent sounds and music turn to max, my first WSG battle and when I met Rexxar in Badlands.

The first season was my favorite. It was simple and fun, yet still able to have some interesting ideas. I still watch episodes every now and then.

The second season introduced some interesting concepts, but many of them were dropped or wasted, and the end was an ass-pull.

The third season was just weird. Again, it had good potential, but it tried to be dark and serious. Coming off of the heels of the previous two seasons, Season 3 was dissonant and actually somewhat unpleasant for me.

Season four was rock stupid.

I've heard of the fifth one, but I've never seen it. I was no longer interested by that time.

at first I thought that catkid was stupid, but as sideshow bob would say it: I've grown accustomed to his face (always a bit funny when they argue or contradict each other)

Anyways, I think I have watched 3 seasons of digimon, 1st is the one with spiral tower etc, 2 is the bat/dracula looking -mon and 3rd it was the one with the seeds and such..I think? not sure, long time since I watched it, gah, now I have to rewatch it>.<

I remember watching the 1st and second series when I wsa younger (ok, 15) and then I went over to my mates one afternoon and caught him watching the start of the Digimon film. Neither of us had said we watched it because we thought the other would think it stupid.

If I wanted to watch again, is the original with subtitles a lot better then the dub, or is the dub pretty good by comparison?

oh come on ppl season 4 was bad compared to 3, but it wasn't bad compared to the 1st and 2nd seasons! i want you to go back and wathc season 1 again and compare it honestly to season for, all fanlove and nostalgia aside. you have to admit the dragon fire crossbow was a pretty epic move.

Mmm, nostalgia. Yeah I go back and watch digimon now and then. And play the DS games, then later regret selling those games, then play the rather simplistic MMO based on season 3 they just released. Was in the beta cause it was free and I was bored, then when the update to the full game came out it glitched the game out of working for me and several others. So I cant take advantage of their limited time offer to get a Veemon. What jerks.

I used to watch it, I preferred it over Pokemon. Well, sort of, I preferred the Pokemon games, but preferred the Digimon anime.

I can't stand watching 1 and 2, because they're best watched together, and that'll run on WAAAAAAAAAAY too long. Especially considering the length of Season 1 alone.
