That was not season 3. Season 3 was awesome. It's when they actually tried doing some mature storytelling.

Ah, my mistake.

I have never watched any anime or any of its offspring (Except Beyblades, which was just because I liked the toys). Incidentally, has anyone else ever owned any Beyblades?

For those that don't know, they're basically spinning tops with not-quite-pokémon stuck on them. You're supposed to put them in an arena and watch them 'fight', but most 'battles' come down to which one hits the wall and falls over first. They weren't that great.

Digimon was interesting, and the movie was really rad. Didn't get into it as much as Pokemon because I liked how Pokemon were more tangible and didn't exist in a digital world. Something about the DIGIMON WERE SO XTREME YEAH feel of the show didn't appeal to me.

I loved that show up until that season. Its been quite awhile. I actually remember that the show got surprisingly dark at some points.

While Digimon has its merits, Pokemon was my anime when I was a kid. Sorry, I think it is a better series. Oh, and if anyone thinks this is an invitation to start a flame war, forget it. I don't hate Digimon but I don't love it either. The first season was only the really one I ever watched.

Then I'll have the GOOD seasons of Digimon, according to my fellow Escapists.

4 wasn't terrible. Sure, there were not Digimon partners, but its worth watching as a different take on the series. It's you don't like it within a few episodes, you ain't gonna like it, though.

Around here Pokémon was released before Digimon, and both ended with mon. That's about it for me at least Kids aren't always reasonable.

Iv seen the earlier ones and liked them, i haven't seen the newer ones yet.
And i dont think i will after hearing some of the comments about them.

I saw seasons one and two, after it went down the hill for me and I lost interest. So I had to find something to fill my extra time and I started play WoW, how ironic .

I only ever really liked Season 4 - Digimon: Frontier. My reasoning being that the kids themselves faught, not just sending someone else to do it.

This is very hard for me to say but,..I had beyblades on GC...as a matter of fact, I think I still have it somewhere in my GC games pile
