I like Digimon it is a great memory when I was smaller, even though I don't get the story line at all I still love it. For example one time I was watching one episode where they were sleeping in a bus or train( can't remember ) trying to go home, and a month or so later they were I watched it again and now they want to go back into the digi-world via some old network system. Even though its over and been years since I watched any of it I would love to see every last one of it again.

I used to watch it as a kid. It was good back in the day. I kinda got lost and gave up as the seasons went on. There was one season where the kids merged with the digimon @.@

Season 3= FAIL. Season 4 the kids became the Digimon. EPIC FAIL.

hah, it seems my earlier post is a bit off then. I thought season 1 ended with that spiral thing mountain, and season 2 was with myotismon(is that correct spelling of his name?) and season 3 was the one with the dark seeds and such.

THe early-to-mid part of season 3 was interesting, the tone was more serious and i liked that (as opposed to the lighthearted tone the previous seasons had). THe characters were memorable.

As an anime freak, I have to say that I liked the designs for the digimon. The humans... not so much.

EDIT: Oh! I remember that I had a pretty fun game for the gamecube, using the first three seasons of digimon!

So... that was pretty cool...

It turns out I'm the only one in my class who preferred Digimon as a kid to Pokemon. I saw large parts of the first and second season but did miss a lot of episodes out. I hated the movie, but that might have had something to do with seeing it when I was older and with the English dub...

I used to watch Digimon all the time.

My favorite was always the first season. Second was really good too, but it loses just a few points for having that annoying kid with the armadillomon. (What was his name? Corey?)
Third... Was ok, but I had a horrible time finding when it was on, so I ended up confused more than anything.
Fourth should be dumped into a pit of acid, while I point and laugh at them.
Fifth bored me.

I have never watched any anime or any of its offspring (Except Beyblades, which was just because I liked the toys). Incidentally, has anyone else ever owned any Beyblades?

For those that don't know, they're basically spinning tops with not-quite-pokémon stuck on them. You're supposed to put them in an arena and watch them 'fight', but most 'battles' come down to which one hits the wall and falls over first. They weren't that great.

Yes, i did own a couple of Beyblades when i was young and bought into anything that was on Cartoon Network. They were surprisingly fun to play with though

As for Digimon i watched it and enjoyed it, even collected the card game for a while (yes i know, i'm a Class A geek)

My opinion on the seasons:

Season1 = Very good
Season2 = Very good
Season3 = Okay
Season4 = Ick
Season5 = Meh

The only episode I liked from Season 4 was Home Again Takuya Returns. I think it would have been better if Takuya was still a Flamon until the end of the season.

I watched the 1st series way back when I was a kid (I sound old, how depressing) and some of the second but I lost my love for it about then. i watched pokemon more often. I might go back and just watch the whole thing through.

I loved Digimon, especially seasons 2 and 4... Even though 4 was kind of OUT THERE with its "You small children can now become digimon due to these models!" But I dug it, also buying the little figurines and having the whole neighborhood make a big city of digimon was always fun.

But now I haven't seen it for awhile, except occasionally watching that movie with the american kid in it that ended up with those two rabbit digimon.

Oh god, I still love Digimon and I'm 17.

Tamers was the best by far. It was done by the guy who did Neon Genesis Evangelion and it was much darker in nature than any of the other series.

I'd actually say that I like it more now than ever before because I get the more mature theme.

We never got Series 4 in the UK but I have watched it all over t'internet and I think it's pretty good as well. Series 5 isn't bad either, but Tamers is still one of my favourite shows ever made.
