I've always loved Digimon and preferred ti over Pokemon... if only Digimon World Dawn/Dusk were as fun as the recent Pokemon games....

My favorite seasons have been 1,5,2,3,4, in that order.


Might I also add, there's a new season being produced, set to sair in Japan in July, Digimon Xros Wars.


One more thing: Beelzemon ftw!!! Looking back, I can't believe they never changed his name!

I only watch Season 3 from time to time, I also watch Medabots(One of the greatest children's anime's ever).

I only ever watched the first season, and a few episodes of the second season.

I did enjoy the show though, and I liked the games as well.

Especially rumble arena, could play that game for hours. Oh and the final boss, Reapermon. He was a ***** to fight.

The intro was awesome too.

Loved the first season, however the second was also pretty good.
I enjoyed the third, but it just got to a point where I decided I didn't want to watch it anymore.
However I did love the Digimon in that season.

I used to watch Digimon, watched the first three seasons in my youth and absolutely adored it. Im 17 now, nearly 18, and I am revisiting them, because they are that awesome.

My favourite anime/cartoon is Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is so good. Great characters, great story (past the first season) and also great humour

I used to, I gave up around the time they had a bunch of new characters, who met the originals, and the main character was given new goggles by the old one. I think it was season 1, I used to have all the videos of it.

god its been so long since I've seen that show. i loved watching the first season over Pokemon because it had a way better plot, a darker tone, and way cooler monsters. it was also more interesting that characters could actually 'die', though they rarely did i know. also it had more intriguing philosophical aspects, at least to my young mind.

Myself, I've been staying amused with the BBC series Doctor Who. I've seen the Digimon episodes so many times as a kid that I could list 'em like pokemon, and while the second season was undoubtedly the best imo, They've served their purpose.

Keep in mind, the third made a real close second. Those two seasons had some delicious character development with enough plot-twisting to keep watchers hooked.

Digimon was a fantastic show, the voice acting the first season was a little shoddy but lets go over the list of themes displayed in this childrens cartoon. Abandonment, Seperation, Insecurity, Depression (Matt was the trendsetter for Emos everywhere) as well as Death, repressed memories and morality.
I dare you to find another show which could tackle those issues as gracefully as Digimon did, to the backdrop of multi-coloured monsters beating the crap out of each other!

I got to watch the first season and a bit of the second when they were shown in this country; darn sight better than Pokémon (probably because 4Kids' stinking mits were kept well away). You've kinda made me want to watch it all again just by mentioning it.

1st season was awesome, second stank, I did not like the 3rd because it was a bit dark compared to the others, although now I intend to watch it, the 4th season was a step backward, and not in a good way, and the final season, I never watched because Fox Kids died on us and I did not get a chance to see it.

the only people who call Digimon a Pokemon knock-off are those who never gave Digimon a chance.

Can't wait for Digimon Xros Wars!!! Also, has anyone else seen any of the movies besides the one released in theatres? I've seen all of them from that, for Island of Lost Digimon and X-Evolution!
