So recently I felt like checking up digimon on the digimon wiki after my interest was stirred again when I found digimon world 4 in my PS2 draw, and I was wondering what was everyone experience with digimon was? for me it was mainly the tv show as it kicked ass I watched the first three seasons started to watch the fourth but hated it and didn't watch any more of them as well as that I have played digimon world 1 and 4. also what to you like about digimon the most? for me it is how awesome there designs are I have yet to find a digimon that is badly designed and digimon that looks ugly is meant to look ugly.

what digimon to you think you would get as a partner I think I would get monodramon as it shrinks away from fights but argued with a much stronger digimon because it was being cheap in a fight that is so me, and its fighting stages are high endurance fighters with good attack which I always go for in games (using dusknoir in pokemon and majoring in hand to hand and heavy armour in oblivion)

I generally like monster owning games, but ones where I collect. Pokemon, Dragon Warrior Monsters, Monster Rancher sort of...

I enjoyed it a bit, but did not love it.

I watched the first series in Swedish. Unfortunately, that meant I got the Swedish translation of the English rewrite of the Japanese cartoon. But at least the voice acting went from perfectly acceptable to pretty darn good. The digimon I would get as partner? Etemon. Why? Because these are my dreams, damn it!

It always felt like a really dark version of pokemon. I enjoyed watching it as a kid from devimon, etemon, myotismon and the 4 megadigimon arcs of the original digi warriors. And the second teams from the beginning up until the digimon invasion of the real world.

Digimon world games were punishing, 1 poo and you're stuck with a walking pooper scooper until you clean up the world. That put me off completing them.

My first experience was the anime(?) show, I watched it like crazy and recorded all of the episodes to VHS cassettes. My favorite Digimon related thing would be Digimon World 3, I didn't even mind the grinding, you just needed a good place to do it. My favorite Digimon would be:

they aren't as good as the first series (one of the best children tv shows ever) but they are still good except for the fourth season were the people turn into digimon rather then have digimon partners when I found that out all I saw was red followed by a back alley and a lot of blood that wasn't mine. After that rage I haven't seen any more of the fourth season or any of the fiveth and sixth season.

I think it started airing in japan near the end of 2010 so it is new
