Is there anything in you that you find utterly repellant? A belief you hold that, while you disagree with it, no acceptable alternative ever seems to present itself? For example; I'm firmly agnostic, but I'm 100% with C.S Lewis when he says "Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important." My casual religous musings are either unworthy of the reality of a divine being, or a waste of time. I find my own attitude disgusting, but lack the conviction to decide any other way.
Just wanting to know if any other people hold ideals they disagree with, but stick to anyway for whatever reason? This is not about religous debate, but about personal contradictory or confused beliefs.
