So, Dishonored is out and it rocks. Arkane dun good.
But, as anyone who has played it knows, the plot is hidden under the game's story, and requires a ton of investigation if you want to know all the little details.

As the wiki is still in its infancy, I decided to work out all the world data, and ask for your help. The following will be the assumptions based on the information I've gathered, and is not to be taken as a definitive source. Anything I get wrong should be pointed out, and if you know something I don't, then add it.

[HEADING=1]SPOILERS[/HEADING]

Before the game, Vera Moray and her husband venture to Pandyssia, where she meets the Outsider, gains her powers, and goes mad. She is subsequently known as Granny Rags. this may also be what draws the Outsider to the Isles
Dunwall has a major rat problem, even before the Plague. However, the Boy from Tales of Dunwall 2, after being granted powers by the Outsider, summons the Plague Rats, starting the weeper plague 5-7 years before the game begins. We know the outsider gives power to those he finds "interesting" and who may shape the world, but does not influence how they USE their power. I take this as evidence for the plague starting with the boy
The Heart will tell you the "doom of pandyssia" has come to dunwall. This may mean the outsider caused a similar plague there, and that his magic/power is what caused the chaos found there.
Additionally, the heart may be the heart of the Empress. When you receive it, the outsider tells you it is "the heart of a living being, shaped by me" (quote may not be correct). dialogue given by the heart and a recording of Piero theorizing about keeping a heart alive through artificial means -and what effect that would have on the soul of whoever the heart belonged to- combined with the knowledge that Piero is inspired by dreams that appear to be given by the Outsider are my evidence for this.

I have more, but can't stay to keep writing it, i'll be adding more later, and hopefully some of you will too!
