How about Disney princesses reimagined as Disney princesses? I bet noone's thought about that one before!
Dude, I could totally imagine Mulan as Belle, who's apparently Pocahontas in this situation...

OT: So... Why WAS Pocahontas frozen for 100 years again?

Also, Kida makes a better Korra than Korra...

I wonder why the Disney princesses crossovers get so much attention? I found some incredibly talented Adventure Time crossover screen background artwork but I don't see it getting an article in the Escapist or the Nerdist. I have to have this tiny sneaking suspicion that I wonder whether all these Disney princesses crossovers are secretly commissioned by the Disney Corporation, so that everybody's favorite favorite thing regardless of what it is (I'm still waiting to see Disney princesses as Firefly Brownshirts and Disney princesses on Battlestar Galactica or even Farscape for that matter but that's all old hat stuff now, isn't it? It's always topical, these Disney princesses crossovers, aren't they, how convenient that it's something topical that ends up in Escapist articles, isn't it?) will always bring up thoughts of Disney and Disney princesses no matter what the fandom is. It's almost as if the Disney Corporation has found out how to succeed where NAZI Germany and Soviet Communism failed in worming its way into the minds of the people permanently and thoroughly. Just make yourself part of everything that everyone else thinks is good and no one will ever forget you or think you are anything but good, and you will reap billions of dollars in profit and cultural and political influence forever and ever, amen. I'm probably wrong, but I can't help getting this sneaking suspicion that I may be right.

Dang, this is quite impressive. I don't care what anyone says, I like these mash-ups...

...Though I will admit they're a bit overexposed...

Some of these are interesting.

But Jafar as an earth bender? I thought he would be a fire bender.

Sigh.

ANOTHER Disney mash-up article.

I remember when the Escapist focused on video games. But now they're spreading out, it is covering it less and less. With the forum getting more and more toxic, the reasons to keep coming here are: Zero Punctuation and Jimquisition.

Which come onto YouTube.

You know what? Barring a monthly visit, I'm done with this website.

Why not take it "one" step further? Every Escapist Content Contributor as Disney Princess re-imagined as video game characters represented as famous historical figures!

I seem to only mind it if they're done poorly... Otherwise, I don't care enough to get tired of seeing them in general...

This kind of stuff is starting to get played out to me. I mean it was cool the first hundred or so times but I'm starting to lose interest in seeing Game of Thrones characters/Disney Princesses/Nintendo Characters/Superheroes as kitchen appliances/tennis rackets/horses.
I imagine when they stop getting page hits, they'll stop doing these.

But then, this is the first "Disney Princess Reimagining" I cared enough to look at, so what do I know?

Yahtzee should be reimagined as an MLP FIM character. Screw it, so should all the major personalities of the site.

Most people seem to only be bothered that it's done so frequently. I like cake, but I wouldn't want it with every meal.

I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be standing in for Long Feng in that picture. Considering they're both very conniving and manipulative villains, I think it works.

Kind of funny cuz my two oldest kids watch the avatar series (and korra) on DVD pretty much daily. So my youngest daughter (4 1/2 at the time) when we saw Frozen asked when the other 'benders' were going to show up. So I'm going to show her these see how she reacts.

I definitely know Yahtzee and Jim have been ponified. The trouble with the other staff is they don't really have distinct features like those two to make it a worthwhile ponification. (Sorry, guys, that's just what I think.)

The fact that you're using the word "artist" to describe someone that has ever constructed any form of "Disney Princess" anything makes me suspect that your personal definition of the former is hilariously incorrect, well beyond error related to beauty being in the eye of the beholder.
Seriously? Please, enlighten us to what being an artist truly means if this does not qualify. You may not like what they've created but I'm pretty sure that it's still art.

Why does the tangled girl have fire bending? That seems like the worse possible power to have when you have such long hair.
She's dressed as a sun warrior. Rapunzel's hair powers are based off a flower that was formed from a "drop of sun."

That seems like a reasonable connection to me.

Not even the LRR crew? A few of them seem like they could be ponified, princessised, or something to that effect.

From the look of the outfit Rapunzel's been retooled into one of the Golden Sun tribe or whatever they were called, a sort of precursor race to the Fire Nation that learnt bending from the last two dragons in existence. As Rapunzel's whole schtick is that her magic comes from a fallen drop of the sun (thats how that film went, right?) its sort of appropriate.
