Ehh, I'm not liking this, especially after what they did to the Gargoyles guy. They canceled the show and pretty much have barred him from trying to make comics.

This is quite creepy; Disney is filled with sublimnal messages, and I don't want to see Spiderman dish those out. I want to see him trapped in a massive bath.

Cookie for whoever guesses where that joke came from.
Decline of Video Gaming 2. "Damn slippy sides!"

Here's a thought: since Disney is in collaboration with Square Enix with Kingdom Hearts and since Disney owns Marvel now, why not a Squenix-made Marvel RPG?

Look at The World Ends With You: a battle system based off touch-screen movements where pins are used as weapons and clothes are used as armor. Switch out the pins for mutant powers, the clothes for costumes and accessories, and Shibuya for New York, and you have the best damn Marvel RPG out there!

Hey, it's a start.

nope, not good.

I don't like the news that Marvel was bought; that means that it really isn't doing as well as all we comic book nerds think that it is, the fact that it can't resist being purchased by a giant like Disney bodes ill for anything else popular and sacred to us; If one of these Titans wants it, it can buy it. Say it wants to buy Valve or Bungee; these conglomerates could do it; they have that kind of money to simply make a brute force purchase.

Disney is just trying to compete with Time Warner by getting its own comic book company, but it obviously can't rely on its own flagship cartoon characters anymore (scary thought eh? when was the last time Disney has released an original animated movie? not Lion King 2 or Cindarella 4, but an original? I can only remember The Curse of the Black Cauldron from when i was a kid.)

Disney has to buy ANOTHER company's original ideas and characters to rejuvenate its own dying stock. I expect to see Marvel cartoons put onto the Disney channel, and they will be bad. And what about that Marvel promise to make more games like Wolverine: Origins? they gave it to Raven Software (a really good company, they made Star Trek: Elite Force, The Jedi Knight games and Quake 4, I know a guy who works there as a texture designer, he's a pretty sweet mapmaker.)

Will Disney override Marvel with its own destructive branding?
Disney has a reputation for enforcing its own standard upon its subsidiaries, and that standard isn't even PG, its G
Actually, Disney killed it's traditional animation branch. They ONLY do CGI movies now. There was much weeping among my artist friends.

Not true. There's a New Orleans themed "Princess and the Toad" animated film coming up. If you saw the previews during Pixar's Up, you'd know.

Well Marvel's officially screwed.Although,if the X-Men appeared in a KH game....that'd be pretty kick ass. However,if they make a fangirltarded sitcom about the "Suite Life of the Fantastic Four",or some bs like that, they will never EVER hear the end of it(EVER).As mentioned previously,it might make some hilarious crossovers. If Disney doesn't screw it up like they did EVERYTHING ELSE ON DISNEY CHANNEL,it may have a (surprisingly) entertaining outcome.

I maintain this isn't happening. It just can't be happening, Gosh darn it!

It's just so wrong.

Well, except that Von Doom/ Malificent wedding...I would so pay to see that. Or turn evil, which ever.
