Just as Disney's Epic Mickey, reminds us of some of its most endearing, and yet strangely forgotten, characters, so does this thread remind us of those who we believe to have been similiarly lost to Time and Memory.
Here, we showcase the characters who made us laugh, who frightened us and who filled us with awe. My fellow Escapists, lets remind each other of why, at one point or another, we all thought Disney was great!
To start this thread off the right way, I thought I would remind you all of a villain who we rarely seem to remember. Perhaps Disney's most terrifying character: The Coachman from Pinocchio.
Lets re-examine this guy. He kidnaps young boys and takes them to a land where they can live out their fantasies, allowing themselves to become reckless, rude brats. He subjects them to their own pleasures until they lose their humanity and become donkeys, all from their own hands. At this point he traps them along with others like them, forcing them to realize their mistakes and then finally shipping them off to live as beasts of burden. The worst part is...
...he gets away with it. He never gets his comeuppance. He is never confronted for his actions and he seems to continue his job after the movie.
Now just to end this the wrong way...
