So am I the only one who has come to realize that Disney is one of the best corporations at keeping things a secret? Think about it. Most people that try to hide things in this day and age usually can't and some kind of "spoiler" type content hits the web months if not weeks in advance of when it is scheduled to be revealed. Two examples in the last two years sprang to mind. One. The Mandarin in Iron Man 3. If you haven't seen the movie yet the following contains spoilers. In Iron Man 3 The Mandarin is revealed to be a drunken British actor named Trevor Slattery that had been created by AIM mastermind Aldrich Killian who made him to put a face to the "terrorist" attacks caused by his virus. No one saw that coming. There was no leaked info drop, or character name, or some other bs like that. Marvel Entertainment actually managed to keep that a secret!

The second is of course the big one. The buyout of Lucasfilm by Disney. Again no one had any idea that that deal was in the works. A deal that had to have been going on for at least a year if not more so. A buyout that large doesn't simply happen over night. Still no one saw it coming. We all went to bed and then woke up and boom Lucasfilm owned by Disney out of nowhere. I can't imagine the kind of internal security they must have if no one talked. As much as humans love secrets we love blabbing those secrets and when its something that big with probably quite a few people and no one talks that is down right a miracle. So the discussion then. Are you impressed or surprised that Disney was able to keep all that under wraps and is there any other major company you can think of that has actually managed to keep major deals, devices, etc.... secret until the day of?

Probably not as many people actually investigate them. They're Disney.
