I'm not to sure about pokemon natures, but so far all my attempts at breeding with ditto have been a success.

Edit: Thanks to a quick google check and the users below me, I can safely say you have nothing to worry about, a ditto can breed with anything, except for legendarys. (The only legendary it will breed with, is Manaphy to create Phione.)

Also since were on the subject of Ditto, how does a pokemon, male or female breed with one that has no gender?

I'm just wondering what natures I need to have to be able to breed them to anything.
You don't. Dittos are massive massive sluts, and they will go with everything.
As an aside, natures and IVs mean nothing when breeding with shinies, but if you have a Japanese Ditto, your chances of breeding shinies with your own Western 'mons increases drastically; I think to 1 in about 1,000 instead of one in 8,000.

It depends on the generation.I've never had a nature problem with ditto though you want one that would benefit your other Pokemon's stats more because there is a chance the Ditto's nature is transferred.

Ditto can breed with any breeding pokemon no matter what nature it is. Only Legendary Pokemon can't breed with Ditto (except for Manaphy who will breed with a Ditto and give you Phione)

Nature doesn't matter. Once you have Ditto you have an infinite Pokemon-baby-making machine.
