I had a similar one to this:[footnote]I know it is wrong, and it is flawed, but it is shiny none the less[/footnote][footnote]And looking at it now, technically it IS yours but formatted differently[/footnote]NinjaDuckie said:*proves that 1 = 2, divides by zero in process*
----
Let us assume x = y
Therefore, x - y = 0
Therefore, (x - y) = 2(x - y)
Divide each side of the equation by (x - y)
1(x - y)= 2(x - y)
1 = 2
----
I think this counts as troll science.
Let a = 1 = b
a = b
a[sup]2[/sup] = ab
a[sup]2[/sup] - b[sup]2[/sup] = ab - b[sup]2[/sup]
(a - b)(a + b) = b(a - b)
(a + b) = b
1 + 1 = 1
2 = 1
I will leave it at that for now.
Darn, now I feel like I have not contributed. Darn.
So I will give these:[footnote]Also flawed, but fun[/footnote]
