Pretty much that. I've never even heard of Divinity 1, so I'm pretty confused as to what is going on here

Works for me.

Without googling it I think that it might be some sort of half assed 3rd person knockoff of Beyond Divinity.

Maybe?

Well, you started this thread, so maybe you should tell us what Divinity 2 is, so we don't all have to Goolge it to find out what you're talking about.

You make a fine point.

Turns out it is a sequel to Beyond Divinity. It's a unbearable generic fantasy game with xbox 1 graphics. Not that that's a bad thing mind you, I would just like to think developers would want more from their game.

Just got the demo on xbox live and was thinking about it.

I was thinking about buying it, but its really not worth it.

However you get to shape shift into a dragon at anytime, which is kind of cool

I thought it was the sequel to Divine Divinity which was a critically acclaimed PC RPG with and isometric play-style...

I saw the demo came out, but rather than download it I went over to YouTube and checked out a series of gameplay videos [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saTAL-4XK3E&feature=related]... it was in German, but one thing came across as clear, the game seems to be:

25% walking around.
70% talking.
5% actual gameplay.

So, to answer the OP post: no, if you like actually playing games then Two Worlds was actually much better. Really, Two Worlds is a game that gets much better after you've been in it a few hours. A bit repetitive, and the horse will get snagged on a pebble, but the experience of burning hordes of skeletons in a fire patch spell is great.

However, if you rather play RPGs because you like seeing NPCs talk, then have I ever got a game for you! It seems that's Divine Divinity: Ego Draconis's primary activity.

Ego Draconis is, at least, a very pretty game.
