I have both Borderlands and Oblivion, and i was wonder if its worth it to buy the DLC expansions to the games (the two for Borderland and Shivering Isles for Oblivion)?

Shivering isles was, in my opinion, better than any questline in cyrodiil. I'm not sure how much it costs now, though. I got it for free.

I don't recommend the borderlands DLC

Don't get the most recent Borderlands one, it isn't worth it.

Well, i'm not a fan of oblivion, so i never played the DLC, but the DLC for borderlands is a great addition to the game. "Zombie Island" and "Secret Armory" are both hilarious, too.

why don't you buy oblivion game of the year addition, it's only £15 i think, well that's what my mate picked it up for and it had all the DLC's on it.

Shivering Isles is one of the best TES experiences I've ever had. I was so engrossed in it I think I became mad for a while

That's what I did, and it was well worth it. Knights of the Nine has some slow parts (especially visiting every wayshrine if you haven't found them before), but is an entertaining jaunt. Shivering Isles is one of the best parts of the Elder Scrolls universe that's been presented thus far.

I know the Oblivion one is worth it. I personally believe it's the best expansion I've ever played, and even if you are not as infatuated as I am with it, it is very entertaining, especially if one likes insanity.

The borderlands ones are decent. While not the best, they can be a few more hours of entertainment with your friends, and extra skill points are always good.

I agree. The Shivering Isles, and to a lesser extent, The Knights of the Nine, are superb additions to Oblivion. As for Borderlands DLC, I only have The Armory of General Knox, and I found it mostly underwhelming. Good, just not great. To be fair, it costs about a quarter (if I remember correctly) of the MS points that Shivering Isles does.

I loved the zombie DLC in Borderlands. Although the Brains achievement sucked the rest was fun.

Shivering Isles remains, to this day, the best DLC ever. Shoving more content up your ass than you can shake a stick at. And dozens of dungeons to delve into. All with their own little secrets, too!

Borderlands. Short, kinda sweet. The level cap increasing Secret Armory is nice, but the content around it is vehicle heavy. And sucks.
