I recognise most of the posters in this thread as they've either gotten my attention by having good posts and by generally being nice and/or funny.

And I've recognise Ahlycks as well.

And I'm probably recognised for all the wrong reasons. Only time will tell.

I easily recognise you Sassafrass, mainly because of the many S's in the name and the fact that you often seem to have Doctor Cox as your avatar. I do think we have debated before, though I can't remember what the subject was.

People who've sparred with me previously probably know who I am, other than that? Probably not.

And I also recognise you... I often stare into your avatar wondering what the hell I'm looking at. Also I've read quite a few of your posts along with Sas up above.

Adding to this I also always recognise Therumancer though he doesn't seem to have posted in here. Mostly recognise him for his posts and not having an avatar.

Lets see, I recognise +/- 25 people regularly, most of whom I've either argued with or they've brought up points I've found interesting (or both see as they are far from mutually exclusive). There are also a few who I know simply by recognisable avatars. I don't know the OP. Being a less prominent and constant poster I assume I'm not particularly recognisable. I suspect those who do recognise me are those who've had arguments with me.

I figured, surely I can not be the only one on here who wonders whether the other escapists are beginning to recognize me; so I decided to make this thread.
It's really simple: Do you want to know if people are getting used to seeing you around the forums? Then post here, and tell the user above you whether you've seen him/her around.

To put it bluntly, I do recognize you. I usually say, "hey it's that guy from Norway with a cow avatar."

I don't know; I guess I just assume people know me. I've made a few waves here, though nothing that has incurred Mod wrath.

I've made a few friends, not that I talk to them much, if any. I'm part of one user group, the best one though. Doctor Who makes everything the best.

I guess people could notice me as the guy that in the past few months has had a revolving door of gif avatars that he made, Scrubs mostly. I ended up with the one I have now that I made, because I had get back to Doctor Who, since it fits my name.

Well I know some people do, though those tend to be people with whom I regularly interact, so the scales are tipped in my favor somewhat. Comments I've made keep showing up in the Letters to the Editor section though, so the likelihood that my pseudonym is meaningful to anyone else certainly aren't being hurt by that; having a user name that's a name probably helps with pattern recognition as well.

But as far as I'm aware, I am almost completely unknown by the general populace of the Escapist forums, unless they've chanced across one of my reviews of obscure albums or diatribes on DRM or some such; I'm not exactly a prolific poster after all.

I only pop in occasionally so I doubt anyone would recognise me.
