Hey. I honestly have no idea how demanding AAA-games will be in the next year or so, but I haven't upgraded in awhile.

Processor: i5 3450, 3.1GhZ Quad-core.
RAM: 8GB.
PSU: Corsair 600w.
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 670.

I could, of course, just run through the current requirements of high-end games and extrapolate, but then I wouldn't have anyone to bounce ideas off, so I'd rather make this post here.

You wont need to upgrade within the next 18 months-2 years. You will be able to run most things on at least medium for that timeframe.

Am I correct in guessing that the only thing I will have to upgrade in order to run things on higher settings is the graphics card?

Up to a point yes. Your CPU will bottleneck with anything more powerful than a GTX 980. It also depends on how well optimised the game is. Most games are not that well optimised, so single core performance is also important. If you upgrade to a GTX 970 you should be ok on high for 18 months or so.
