I've never seen pikachu poo in the series and I know when I take my dogs for walks they are always pooing all over the place.

Does Koffing poo? Could you imagine a Koffing pooing?

Maybe they convert their waste into their attacks, thus removing the need to poo?

I don't know, but I know they wouldn't feel the need to include that in any of the official Pokemon things, as it isn't something that matters.

Well, considering the games don't come with any system to feed the Pokemon, I think it's only logical that they wouldn't have to poo, either.

As for the TV series...I know I've seen them eat before, but never poo. Perhaps it's the video game system of digestion, where you never see it happen (or any facilities in which it can be taken care of) but it's always well taken care of, anyway.

Pikachu Probably poops, but a Pokemon like Koffing probably doesn't poop (Due to the fact that he's just a giant gas ball). I'd assume a pokemon like Koffing just vents out waste instead of pooping it out.

I'm no scientist but isn't poo just wasted energy?

Turn the wasted energy into an attack and you got yourself a pokemon attack

Pokemon do poo. In the first series, Gary finds a fossilised poketrud, was funny

I've never seen the humans use the bathroom either. maybe they all suffer from acute constipation. But the whole idea behind pokemon and similar shows is kinda retarded;

"I'm mad at you, so now I will make my pet fight your pet, wilst doing nothing substantial myself except for telling him what to do because he can't do it himself for some reason, and I couldn't possibly walk up to you and hit you in the face or anything like that."

That has always bothered me a bit about pokemom/digimon/etc. But no, I don't think they can poop. Digimon could, though.

Do hobbits poo?
Cuz I don't recall reading about Frodo taking a bathroom break every few miles through Mordor and Mt Doom.
Then again when all you eat is bread (even if it is Lembas) I suppose you'd be epically constipated.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mention of hobbits taking a dump in LotR... but just substitute the characters/novel for almost anything else and my point is made.

In the episode where Ash meets an Aerodactyl, it is explained that there were fossolized peaces of Pokémon poop in the area. So yes, they poop.

More importantly: Why do they ALL come from eggs? And those you can't get from eggs: Where are their belly buttons?

This question can be haunting if you've watched Dino Babies.

No, but it's an acceptable break from reality. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NobodyPoops]

In the games they seem to be weapons who don't eat, so don't poo. But in the anime, they are seen eating so one can assume they take the time to defecate otherwise there would be several poo explosions inside pokeballs, which I'm sure would embarrass pokemon trainers.

Are you talking about the real worls or the Pokemon universe? I may have misinterpreted, but if poop is wasted energy, wouldn't that imply that if one did enough exercise they would never need to poop? I thought poop was just what remains from solid food after the body has sucked all the nutrients from it. It's stuff the body can't make use of, so it ejects it.

Anyway, the Pokemonz bearing a resemblance to real animals probably poop, although I don't see why it would be necessary to show it in the game or anime. Ghost Pokemonz probably wouldn't poop, nor would things like Weezing, Koffing etc. Geodude probably shits bricks.

...This isn't the most refined thread on the Escapist.

Yeah I don't know a lot about science and biology, yours sounds much more likely
