Well, considering the games don't come with any system to feed the Pokemon, I think it's only logical that they wouldn't have to poo, either.
By that logic, none of the characters eat, drink, sleep or excrete. Or for that matter, age, procreate, get diseases, grow, etc

EDIT: You do get pokemon eggs, so presumably they must have sex..?

Yeah they poo, but they do it in the form of attacks. What did you think mud slap actually involved mud? Oh you poor naive fool.

As for the TV series...I know I've seen them eat before, but never poo. Perhaps it's the video game system of digestion, where you never see it happen (or any facilities in which it can be taken care of) but it's always well taken care of, anyway.
In the newest ones you can feed them.

What happens if you never teach your pokemon said move? Does it slowly swell and eventually use self-destruct in a shower of excrement?

Probably, but the real question is, are there carnivorous pokemon that eat other pokemon? Garydos eating horseas, for example?

Poo is actually not used food. But they eat special pokemon food. Maybe that digests totally in their body. But another thing. I never saw any other animals in the show. So where does there meat come from, because they do eat burgers. Do they eat miltanks.

Yep, they poo even if they don't show it. And let's be honest here, do you really want to see that?
I'm sure you could type certain stuff on google and it would show a picture of pikachu taking a dump on Ashes chest.

In the first few episodes of the first season there were some real animals - fish in fishtanks, a worm a pidgey is eating, etc. Perhaps the whole planet turned vegetarian?

Also, this thread is completely hilarious. Keep it up people :')

This sounds like the same thing as are pokemon mammals.

Anyway, I think they do, cause i think in one game someone mentioned something about using his pokemon as fertilizing machines.

Sure they poop. In fact, I can think of several attacks based on it (i.e. Sludge and Sludge Bomb).

The amount of truth in that statement makes me very sad.

Regardless of the efforts of countless rule34 fan artists and the finest efforts of the hentai industry, the fundamental fact of the matter is cartoons are completely lacking in biological function. Sure, you could imagine otherwise, but once you set the bar there, it loses all meaning.

Maybe what you're asking is if it is canon that Pokemon poo or not. I think that's something the developers have very carefully made ambiguous, because they'd turn off certain fans to indicate one way or the other. (Yes: "That's too realistic!" No: "That's no realistic enough!")

Heck, there's quite a bit of mystery as to where Pokemon Eggs come from. You see, if you leave a boy and girl Pokemon at the day care, and they "play" together very much, an egg comes into being. Considering a Skitty and Wailord are a compatible breeding pair, it's best not to put too much thought into the biological mechanics behind this.

Tell you what, here's your answer to all Pokemon biological questions: It's MAGIC! [http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2009/11/2/]
