Who in their right mind buys 13 consoles? Didn't he think "Damnit that's the third one! Fuck it I'll buy a PC" Or something? I mean. Seriously. The sum of 13 360's is more than enough to buy a -really- nice computer.
Or a second hand car.

Or the person who claims to have purchased 13 consoles is trolling. Simple enough.

If that is the case.. well. I feel silly. The point stands though, from a hypothetical
standpoint.. ~Vague attempt at redemption~

Oh yeah, if at all valid it does provide a case for someone to say, what the hell is the matter with you? Buying something that broke 13 times? But the more likely scenario, given all of the flaming and trolling that occurred at the peak of the RRoD controversy, I'm assuming 13 was just a number given by a Sony fanboy in an attempt to make the situation worse than it was.

And sorry, I've never used a PS3 so I wouldn't know. But it says "and will be restored", which almost sounds like it's going to do it itself.

The Mafia 2 demo is amazing, and I recommend everyone try it out right now.

i already spend my days behind my pc, and the guy with 13 XBOX360's should consider buying a ps3
and it won't be restored, because the thing is stuck in a loophole, i spend 2 hours trying to fix it by pressing "x" a lot of times, but it didn't work
and i might check out mafia2's demo

OK, truthfully, you need to state 'I don't throw controllers or anything' so we know you didn't brake it yourself. But, RROD aren't permanent, they are just telling you to get me checked out, check the cords or restart me. You can mail it into Microsoft and they will fix it for free if it's old enough and the PS3, look it up on Google first to see what to do, and if you can't fix it, a new hard drive or memory card, it's hard to keep track what any console does for memory anymore, can be replaced and it could work fine, but keep the recite in case, because I'm not 100% about that, due to giving Sony the farewell after the PS one and only recently getting a PS2. Hope it works out, and theirs no such thing as Console Gods.

i broke the xbox open. it wasn't smart and the warranty was lost, but it was fun as hell
and i didn't mistreat my ps3, i've been carefull as hell with it

Not really because when you think of it if you want a good setup it will cost you around 2000-3000 dollars then when they release a new game that you need to buy a new graphics card boom their is another 100 dollars gone plus if you want to play online.... well you see where I am going with this.

Did you buy it with a credit card? If so, there should be a paper trail. Even debit would give you some sort of record, and only cash wouldn't. Try that. Also, there's looking at the manufacture date, it's possible that you could still get it covered under warranty.

I thought the same thing would happen when I switched out my PS3 hard drive for a bigger one. Trust me, it's not that difficult.
