do videogames REALLY effect you? really change you?? truly and forever, like rolling a 12 on your dnd sheet(bad simile). the only change i have ever noticed was that i yelled FUCK a lot more often when playing gta, but that just kinda died away...

Yes, I feel that certain games have changed me in ways similar to films and books.

If I'm allowed to differentiate between "affect" and "change," then yes. I'm not entirely sure how I'm supposed to notice when I've changed, but I do remember being affected.
