i was just watching a video of some bioshock 2 multiplay, and it looks ok, nothing to write home about. i realized, ive seen a ton of footage and info about bioshock 2 multi, but not a drop of anything about its single play. im still working my way through the first, and i have almost no interest in the multi player gameplay of bioshock 2. i think thats how most people feel. everyone is loooking for an epic single player story again. but no one even knows anything about single player story or gameplay or anything. are they just keeping it tight under wraps? do you guys know anything?

Yes, there is quite a large amount of footage released for the Single Player portion of Bioshock 2.
For instance, there is a great trailer which has the first section of gameplay, with one of the level designers from Bioshock 1 talking about the new gameplay innovations.
It really is quite good, it is a demo that ties together all of the stills and short clips that have been peppering the internet for several months.
It is called 'Hunting the Big Sister'.

Going by what little I saw of the multiplayer in Bioshock... I couldn't help but feel it looked like half life 2 multiplayer, or doom multiplayer or something along those lines.
I'm not saying that's a bad thing, and I find "This game looks like this for whatever reason" statements to be repulsive, thus I'm slightly repulsed that I just made one myself...
I guess what I'm trying to say is, it just looked like random carnage... I know there are people out there that just want to turn their brains off and kill things, but that's not me...
Keep in mind this is based on the little I've actually seen of it, so don't take any of it too personally.
James, if it wasn't for you posting that, I would have never known there was anything out in terms of single player yet. Thank you! I personally thought they were going to just overhype the multiplayer seeing as how Bioshock was a single player game. (unless there was multiplayer in DLC? I only got to beat the game when I rented it, never got to look at what the DLC was.)
