Aha, thanks. This avatar goes way back to the formation of the Catgirl Lovers group when it was originally used by Lambi and then passed around to a few others before it became mine. There's a Halloween variation of it that thenumberthirteen did for me last year in October that I'll be changing to in a few hours when it hits midnight over here.

Heh. Some of the forum games can be a bit like that, but most of the active ones on the front page are pretty accommodating for new people. In fact, they pretty much welcome new blood. It's just getting past the whole awkward stages and accepting that there'll be a lot of in-jokes and the like that you won't understand.
